An example of a fire retardant product from our range is Firefly. This is made from 100% spun meta-aramid fibre using a vertically integrated aramid manufacturing system. It is uniquely engineered to provide exceptional flame, heat and electric arc resistance, and can resist flame temperatures up to 371°C without melting. Manufactured with special dyes that can survive multiple washes, it is used in fire retardant protective garments that need a high level of durability, including fire fighter uniforms and safety jackets.
